#SuccessfulCasesFJ CANBERRA

During the years 2008 and 2009, FJ | Integral Supply installed several pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as valves and control systems, in the helicopter landing ship “CANBERRA” (LHD) built for the Royal Australian Navy.

Navantia was the company selected to build the ship and it was carried out at the facilities in Ferrol and Fene (Spain).

With dimensions of 202.3 x 32 meters (664 x 105 feet) and a height of 27.5 meters (90 feet), the vessel comprises six places for helicopters up to MRH-90 size to operate simultaneously. The 990-square-meter (10,700-square-foot) hangar deck accommodates eight medium-sized helicopters and can carry up to 10 more using the light vehicle deck.

Two aircraft elevators (a large one aft center and a smaller one to starboard and forward of the island superstructure) connect the flight deck to the hangar deck.

FJ | Integral Supply installed the valves and control system for that valves on this vessel.

Likewise, it was in charge of the supply and start-up of the pneumatic system for the sliding gates (3 Units)

We also installed the CO2 Activation System and carried out the installation, assembly, and testing of hydraulic systems such as:

• Stabilizing blades

• Ammunition elevator

• Aircraft elevators (2)

• Real scale

• Crane

• Stern and bow winch.

• Side doors.

• Sliding doors.
